As a graduate from Pitt Community College, I have an Associate Degree in Therapeutic Massage. I am a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist of North Carolina. I have been Licensed since 2012. As a Licensed Massage Therapist I perform : Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage, and Aromatherapy. I am also Certified in Neuromuscular Therapy Massage. I am a member of The American Massage Therapy Association. Being a Licensed Massage Therapist is more than a job title, it is my life. Tamra received her Esthetics license in 2014 from Rhode Island. She and her active duty Coast Guard family were transferred to the Outer Banks. They immediately fell in love with OBX and have made Manteo their forever home.
While being interested in skin care and cosmetics for as long as she can remember. Her true passion for skin care came once she had tested positive for Genetic Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer. Meaning she was BRCA 1 Positive. Tamra and her family quickly realized just how important preventative measures can be. It saves lives.
Tamra uses her ever developing profession as an Esthetician along with her life experiences to educate her clients about preventative skin care. Her craft for optimal skin health is backed by a strong belief in a Holistic approach to skin and body care. Holistic approaches to skin care consider the health of the whole person, including nutrition, lifestyle and emotional factors.
Her plan is to improve your skin using healthy, natural products and non-invasive skin care treatments.
Tamra absolutely loves what she does. She makes people feel and look their best by providing services that nourish the mind, body and soul.
Amenie Kristine Schweizer, M.Ed., BCC, CHTP, CCA
Recently retired from 35 years of professional experience working as a teacher, school counselor, and school administrator, Amenie is also a life coach and energy healer. Her passion is to work with others on their journey toward greater wellness balance and personal success, and to assist them in creating and living the life they desire. She utilizes a skill set that includes life coaching, energy healing, aromatherapy and creativity.
Additionally, she enjoys working with young people doing academic coaching and enjoys teaching both Reiki, a Japanese form of energy healing, and workshops on the safe and effective use of essential oils. She holds an M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from James Madison University and a BA in Spanish from Centre College of Kentucky.
